NGO
Tauri is an Open Source Software community, created in 2019 to further the goals of making smaller, more secure applications for all consumer hardware platforms. It is a programme within the Commons Conservancy. We seek to be agnostic to programming language and user interface framework, however we write all of our core systems in Rust and provide JS API interfaces. Our libraries are well maintained, audited for security by third parties, and focus on a joyful developer experience. Our core libraries are very easily classifiable as TRL-9. Our organisation is led by our Working Group, which is split into Development, Community, and Operations. Some decisions, however, require that our Board of Directors convene.
